I only listen to talk radio otherwise I play "older" stuff. Artists used to be about the music, something they had passion for. Now it's all about the $$$ and what will sell to young kids...

Maybe NKOTB will make a comeback and save the industry....LOL

Only listen to rap really because I like the bass. Any other music i listen to is country and classic rock. Can't stand that new shit they call rock.

Most of the underground music is what it was like in the 90's. It pisses me off when people get paid so much to make the most pathetic song and it's catchy to people because of the beat.

I bet the people who make these songs are like wow this is a bullshit song, but people like it.

I'm not making this comment as being racist, but as a inference. Black people like the new hip hop for some reason but white people like the older style better still. Andre Nickatina is a good rapper with his metaphors and similes and at his concerts you don't see too many black people.

I must admit the only cd's I've bought in the last 12 months is Daughtry, Counting Crows, and Dave Matthews band. I may go eventually get the BTNH and Lil Wayne cds next month but probably not.

I agree 110% with JmanPC. Todays music is trash! I only buy a CD in a blue moon and my moon hasn't been blue in awhile.

I love the older classic rock bands and some alter. music. I just can't get into the pop, rap or this new country crap..........well never liked any country really.

When I do use my Itunes, it is to download the oldies, but goodies.

Soundgarden was the shit back in the day. Chris Kornell or however you spell his last name was ment to be with Soundgarden and Zach with Rage. I just can't get into Audioslave.

if i was black i'd totaly pick me up a synth, make a beat, and rap to it. but since im white, i gotta pick up a guitar, learn to play, get good, write music and lyrics with some kind of structure and meaning, and then hope i can get noticed in the shadow of hip hop. *sigh*
