I dont feel like im givin my comps up front enough power. Theyre only gettin about 40-50 rms (unless my amp is underrated). My amp is bridgeable down to 2 ohms, so i was thinking of bridging my amp to my highs then getting some efficient coaxials in rear and running them off HU power. (equipment is in my sig)
would this be a good idea? or should i just try and get a stronger 4 channel and add more power all around. I like to have my rear fill so completely unhooking is not an option.
amp specs:
RMS Power Rating @ 14.4VDC:
60 watts x 4 chan. @ 4 Ohms
100 watts x 4 chan. @ 2 Ohms
Bridged:
200 watts x 2 chan. @ 4 Ohms
245 watts x 2 chan. @ 2 Ohms
RMS Power Rating @ 12.6VDC:
45 watts x 4 chan. @ 4 Ohms
75 watts x 4 chan. @ 2 Ohms
Bridged:
145 watts x 2 chan. @ 4 Ohms
200 watts x 2 chan. @ 2 Ohms
