They break-in the subs partially before you get them, so you don't get a dud.

guys guys guys - you have got to appreciate that nick is running a very very very small company manufactuirng a prodcut that is high in demand.

You might want to call it a small break-in period. ahh no problem at all I wasn't complaining or anything, just wanted to know what the testing is for. well that's a good thing then if you test each sub and make sure it's working properly.

on a different note what will each of you be putting your D2's in as far as enclosure size sealed/ported how many cu ft. tuned to what? I'm thinking about 2.5 cubes sealed. Looking for great SQ hopefully I'll get it out of that enclosure.

2.5 cubes sealed is way too much. I was told that 1.5 cubes is plenty and anything more is overkill. If ur gona go 2.5 cubes port it. Ull get good SQ either way, or so it seems...
