When you guys test your new equipment...

So when you guys test your new equipment do you guys just crank it up in front of your houses or what? I have a hard time doing it in front of my house because I live in a peaceful neighborhood and on top of that I don't want my neighbors to know that I have a system.

Where do you guys test your new stuff? I usually drive till i find an empty park where I can pop my trunk and test stuff out or go to a mall parking lot.

Usually for a burp or two I can do it in the shop.Anything lasting more than 15 seconds and you'll get people knocking on the door.

I have a small airport (where the little death traps fly out of) maybe 5-10 miles away from me.I've gone out there to set stuff up before.Usually I don't bother anyone, except for when I set a car alarm off.Purely on accident.

I useually just test in the driveway for trying to get my speakers to sound right. My whole neighborhood pretty much listens to just rap, so they think I'm pretty much wierd/crazy when I'm blaring the soft jazz for tweaking lol. I never test bass out in the neighborhood though, don't want anything stolen, plus just don't generally like to disturb the people I have to live next to. The guy accross the street from me has a best buy special system and thinks it's the shit, I don't even think he knows I have a sub heh. I useually just go to my office parking lot after everythings closed.

I also live out in BFE (sorta) and I've gone and randomly parked in farmers fields (on their little roads) for just short little tests.

SAME SHIT HAPPENED TO ME!!! I was installing my sub in a covered parking deck and this cop came by and started to give me shit. He's like some audio equipment just like yours was stolen in that neighborhood over there son. I'm like yeah ****ing right, some guy over there also happens to have a Shocker Sig? I think not. He got pissed cause I refused to show him my license, but he eventually left.

wanna work something out when I get my RL-P's. I need a box and box plans and I have a eclipse sub with a tc9 motor. Well at least I think it is, that is what other people have told me. The sub is still in working order.

not yet, I need to get my RL-P's first. Plannign on picking them up mid/end of June.
