When I install the subwoofer do I remove the carpet?

get a old bike tube and cut it to a strip. then put the strip on top of the carpet and then screw it down real good. thats what i do and they have bin ok.

a good way to test it, is fill the box with water, then mount the woofer and see if the water leaks out where the woofer meets the carpet , if it doesnt, take the woofer back out , drain the water, and remount the woofer with no worries //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

whatever makes the best seal, if the holes a bit big carpets good, if the holes tight carpet will be in the way, use your best thinking //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

make sure you let the water sit in the box for a while to make sure the wood absorbs it for best results

lol awesome advice. I think I like the bike tubing method the best as it seems i'm allergic to water now haha.
