What's your favorite box building tool?

dude...thats an 8 series BMW, far from a probe
right, which is why i said that it sounded to me like you were saying it WAS a probe lol...

thats why i said something along the lines of "why would a skyline kit have a bmw grille?" because you mentioned something about a custom widebody skyline kit...

I don't think that tape measures really even count for this because that's a necessary thing, not something that makes everything easier that you could get by without.

You could get by without a tape measure . Judging by some of the work I have seen posted here it looks like some people do //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I could pull it off. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Fook that , I would rather spend a little extra time measuring to avoid having to break out the sander and or flush trim //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

No offense man ( saw your post in the feedback section ) but I was thinking more along the lines of some of the masterpieces I have seen being sold from " Box builders " on here . Think you know who I'm talking bout //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

my circle jig is made from hardboard (1/4 inch)
i coundersunk the screws too, so its just flippin pimp.
Routers with jigs are the best tools for anything. You could make an entire box with a router. Get a straight edge, a spiral upcut bit in a router and some wood and have at it.

My next two closest fav's would be the table saw and bessey clamps.

i've been waiting on the pics of those famous speakers to show up!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

wood glue was number 1 for me. Jasper's not crap w/o a router though. Every box-building tool i buy becomes 'necessary' very quickly.

I've always used a tape measurer...just not a straight edge //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Awww... Good old Lemans23's first few box builds for the win. Seen some caulk lately?

Nah, not recently. I sold all of my Lowes shares once I wasn't buying their entire shipments of window and door silicone //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
