Sealed gives you nowhere near the spl of a vented box. As long as the amp has a subsonic filter it is fine.

I would stick to the sealed box if your looking for SPL

Sorry for the crappy drawing but hopefully you get the picture. My calculations give me 3.46 ft.^3 before the sub displacement and then .14 ft.^3 per sub. So right about 3.2 ft^3.

3.867 cu ft. for the enclosure and I think .07 for each sub is right. So basically the enclosure is 3.72 cu ft

1.75 x 2 = 3.5 cu. ft.

A single 4" aeroport isnt going to take up any or much more than .22 cu. ft. Im thinkin I can prolly squeeze the port in there and be ok.

I saw someone say something about maybe the subs are out of phase. What does this mean?? How can I check to make sure they are in phase?? Thanks
