whats wrong?

my subs make a bump sound and then shut off. but the lights on the amp are still on. when i hooked another sub up the sub sank in(confusing?)

does anyone know what could cause this? if so please help.

Sounds like a broken amp. Sorry...

It could be a bad ground. Wiht some amps, the light turns on with the remote wire, try changeing your ground.

sounds like your amp is putting out dc current to the speakers. hook up a multimeter to the audio output on the amp and see if voltage is coming out. if so your audio section has decided to die.

yeah i thought dc current was going straight to the subs cause my subs would push all the way out and hit my grills,

but i have since returned my amp and they gave me a new one.
