so the amp is a 1 channel but why does it have 2 sets of speaker terminals? just for wiring convinance?is it possible to put a 1 ohm load on each set of terminals?what kind of load would that turn to be?

2 one ohm loads = .5 ohm load

The dual terminals are just for ease of use. a 1 ohm load on each terminal would come out to a .5 ohm load.
