Bought Diamond m6kII used, came looking just fine. As soon as I gave it power I could tell something wasnt right.
Its had to explain but it like... flutters, its not tight at all and it makes a flapping noise. Hard to tell but I think its a click at every excursion. It also bottoms out very easily. I have it in a sealed box (I can't feel any leaks) powered by a x600.1. Gains were set with DMM, but it still sounds all ****ed up with gains less then half way.
Whats Up?

I'm really not sure, when the gains are set low enough and its not pushed to hard it actually sounds okay from inside the car just crappy when I listen to it from outside with the trunk open. When it gets loud it gets bad. The sound is very loud and I can even hear it from inside the car. From inside it can easily be mistaken for trunk rattle.

Same exact problem outside the box, everything looks fine. I did notice that a feint noise comes from the spider when I move the sub manually, trying my best to press it evenly.
Wiring seems to be right.
Seems to me like its ****ed up mechanically, diagnosis: new sub?
