whats with these weird *** lookign sub boxes

an audio shop sales rep was trying to sell me one of these, saying that theyre one of the best boxes u can buy. heres a pic from sonic electronix

anyone ever seen, or even heard of these before? was he on crack, or are they decent?

aka prefab=Sh*t but you can make a plexi glass box just for show off really if u make it for your subs not just pick one up waste of money.

hahahaha. yea. shit tho, for 50 bucks. i might get it anyway to play with. throw in some old kicker c10's i have. see how loud i can get 'em before they blow.

Prefab boxes are usually just too small, or tuned too high.

i agree. kickers prefabs (although made specifically for theyre woofers) perform VERY well. a friend of mine is doing 142.7 in a kicker prefab using 2 12" black cone L5's, and two directed 600d's

got first place in street b a few weeks ago in tampa, he drive a red tiburon. if anyone was there

It might be that it is tuned high (37-40Hz).

two 10" eclipse SW8102's, and and some old kicker c10's. gonna play with the c10's first. then throw the eclipse's in. play with it. see how itsounds
