whats this stuff do?

Phase should be 0 or 180, and it's for basically inverting the subs. If the subs would be out with 0 phase, they would be in with 180 phase, and vice versa.

And yes, a high level input is for direct speaker wire type connection.

I have a sundown 1200d
It has some things on the side that I don't know what they are...

one says PHASE, a switch that is either 0 or 160

Whats it do?

And theres a weird looking plug that says high output and has a L and R on it... ? Is this for speaker-level outputs in place of RCAs?
The phase says 0 and 180, not 160. And it switches the way the subs go basically

EDIT He beat me to it with a better description ^^^

I think yours was simpler in a good way //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

and Yeah I was mistaken sorry, I was posting on memory //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif

My subs are facing the trunk in a sedan. Which should I put phase on? 0 or 180?

And theres a 'sub sonic' dial, its 18 hz to 50. Is that the setting to prevent the sub from playing anything under XX frequency? (Should I put it at whatever my cvr 12'' kickers are rated or a little higher?

And theres a thing that says cross-over. it ranges from 50 to 500 (going on memory here..)

This is for not playing frequencies over XX hz, right?

One last question.... I have a 4ch amp with a remote wire going to my headunit. I'm going to run rca's from the 4ch amp to my sub amp.

My headunit only has 2 sets of channels, no sub outputs.

Can I put a small piece of remote wire from my 4ch amp to my sub amp???

is your box ported? yes its there for the sub to not play below tuning frequency.

yes. i have my set at 80hz.
