Hey guys. Picked up an mmats p3.0 12in and a solid built ported box for $100 locally. Total score.

Wondering about the port tune on this, so I can set my ssf accordingly.

External (approx):

21in wide

13.5in high

16in deep

Internal (wood looks like 3/4in):

19.5in wide

12in high

14.5in deep

Port (slot port)

1.5in wide

12in high

15in deep (maybe 15.25)

hit me with some specs

sounds about right. after displacement puts me at 1.81 cubs internally....very close to rec. specs for this woofer.

so if that's around 38hz I'm thinking maybe tune my ssf to 35hz? My stock bose front stage actually plays the lows surprisingly well. I have 8in or 10in woofers in my doors, it's rather impressive. This works out well because the mmats give me that extra mmmpphhhh 35hz-60hz while my door still play the low lows well.

Best of all, found a zapco 500m for $60 locally. picking it up today. another $20 on the rca adapter for it and total of $80 put in for a zapco amp. That puts me $180 deep, get me a 4awg wiring kit and a shop install and I think I can keep the whole deal wrapped under $400. NOT BAD for an Mmats p3.0 12, solid carpeted ported box at spec, zapco way underrated 500w amp, wiring, and professional install. **** I'm good.
