Hello all, greeting from the UK. I am looking at building a ported box for a Kicker L5 15" its going to be fitted into an E39 5 Series, now the predicament I have got is i that cannot find much info on the parameters of the sub. I have built a couple of ported boxes in the past so I am not a complete noob but I am still generally new.
The dimensions I have to play with are w31" x h16.5" x d15" generally a small box i know but it would be nice if you any of you gurus could work your magic. my idea is to have the sub and port towards the back seat area. I have cut the ski hatch out and opened up a bit of the parcel shelf to allow sound to pass, then cut a cover board and cover the rear of the box completely and carpet it so its blanked off. This should then leave me with a little bit of boot space to use for general car jobs.
