What's the cheapest DECENT hood mat?

Been looking around at all the sound deadening stuff, and all the millions of websites dedicated to it have made me realize something: I need a new hoodmat. The vehicle is an 87 Chevy full size truck. The engine noise from under the hood (not the exhaust) is loud. And the hood mat that it has (the stock one) is falling down and in tatters and deteriorating with age. I took a look at Cascade's products (some of the best out there) and they want $150 for a hood mat. Like 95% of you here, I have to spend my money as wisely as I can. So what is the best hood mat, that is priced reasonably? Guess it's back to the question I always come around here asking. What's the best bang for the buck? (in sound killing hood mats)

I always take them out, ive never had a problem with engine noise, although my fan is loud as hell but its been like that.

You could probably try a deadner, like edead or hushmat.
