Best all around would be XS. For price, maybe a deka or a C&D

Personally I like Batcap for SPL, but XS is a close second.

Lots of people swear by XS. Have heard from many that Batcap is very good. I've personally had great results from Stinger SPP series.

Swap out that stinger for a Batcap or XS and you would love it. however, Stinger still makes a decent battery if it's not broke, no real need to fix it.

Depends on what you mean by "spl".

Are you running a class where the vehicle is off? Limited to a certain number of batteries? Is this for burps or sustained music?

XS for everything unless money isnt an issue at all, then the batcap 8400

I agree the northstar's are nice.

personally the batcap 3000, 4000, and 8400 are what we use and sell the most of. I did contact XS recently to see what we could do about getting them for our local clients only, but have yet to hear back...hard to say what will work out the best though. There are many things to consider when looking at batteries for SPL.
