i got it for 400 with a custom built box built to specs and it sounds awsome i have it in a little honda civic and its ported and im only pushing 4-5 hundo on it and its to much for my car plastics broke on the **** thing and all i can hear is the air hitting the plastics when i have it turn up more power on my amp. in the next month im buying a new suv or something bigger then my civic should i just keep it and see what it sounds like. this sub beats my two fifteens i had in there first and at half the power hits so much harder

na im always swapping systems out and someone wants to trade me a rockford fosgate t3000.1bd amp and im always looking for differnt systems and making money i got thoses w3s for like 75 bucks on auction so it really doesnt matter to me

it's a tc sounds 5200 with better soft parts, it's nice sub but not worth the price and bullshit with customs. Be much easier to just get a 5200 motor and recone it here.

As for OP, I would say keep the W7, sell the W3s... and when you get an SUV or whatever you were saying, get another.

W7s arent the end to all subs, like wenn_du_weinst makes it sound... They are great subs tho, and sound very clean. Get a nice 1k amp and go about your business, then when you get another car get another W7 and another 1k amp or a 2k and sell the 1k. Should be a very nice system.

Idk how much you can sell it where you live, if a lot, then cool. Subs you may want to look for are things on the line of Sundown Z, Fi Q, Arc Flatline, things on the line of that. They will all sound clean, but get louder than the W7...

Were the 5200's SPL subs? I didnt think TC actually marketed them for that, but I dont know a whole lot about them.

ive used that junk before. yes i run mcintosh for my front stage just got a new car and planning on everything but sub stage being mcintosh. i also work for mcintosh here in bing.
