I've never had a jl that got ''loud''

they do how ever respond fast sound great and tend to keep up to the mids a lot better than most other subs same class do. The w6 is probably still the best sq driver under $400

next time i go to the shop, i will get pics/vids. its one of the workers setup. its two w3's on the newest JL 1k and the box is built to JL spec tuned to 27 Hz. was hitting every note beautifully

had a w7 and 2 w6s in proper boxes, was not content with them sounded good if i wanted to keep the bass to myself but volume was severely lacking. i certainly know more than a 16 yr old kid getting his info from a bunch of retards at a shop

i dont see 2 w3s doing 145 legal at one local shop the owner had 2 15 inch audiobahn immortals in an astrovan and claimed to do a 157.3 and didnt know what a termlab was and rated his power as peak power.

another shop had a guy that caimed his 2 12 inch p3s on a t1000 were the loudest in the county and had a score of "146.2" and they were in a sealed prefab box

eh I don't really claim 145 as loud, my 10's are at that. 150-155 is where I start to think it's getting loud depending on equipment. Now days I could care less about loud though

I say keep what you have until it's at full potential, then think about trading off. So many people switch before the right time and constantly searching because they never hear the final product

yeah i was hoping on making some money guy wants to trade me his rf t30001.bd for my sub plus 75 i was gonna try to talk him down and yea sell that and i still got like 600 or more in systems i gotta sell but i would put all that together and get something nice or should i just stick with the w7 and wait til i get a better car and build the system up

the 3000 isn't worth plus 75, figure a used 12w7 is going or 400-450

I'd say him add 75

some guy on here said that i could sell it between 575 -650 depending on condition

some other guy pm me saying about that and someone esle said that the 13s are only going for 300 on here
