Whats exactly wrong with Kicker & JL?

I disagree, Kicker's power is rated @ 2 ohms,aq's @ 1,which make kicker way more efficient and way less of a strain on your electrical. Plus Kicker and jl is probably "top of the line " that most folks can buy who dont have credit cards or paypal.

Efficiency is a moot point if your running over 2500wrms on your system. There is no stock electrical system that can withstand that. You have to dump money into your electrical to run either amp regardless of efficiency.

i was gonna put RF in the OP but i've only run one RF product and wasnt a fan so I wouldnt have been motivated to say anything optimistic about em.

I like some of each, fosgate, jl, kicker, I just don't like the attitudes people give off. It also goes both ways, I think an equally big problem is the attitudes of people that think they are cool because they don't run ''mainstream'' equipment.

Bruce Macmillan who designed the Xtant amplifier technologies is the one behind JL Audio's amplifier design. Slash series amplifiers are spendy for a reason they work for any application do rated power and have a pretty simplistic user interface. Show me other class D amplifiers that can do rated power at 4-1.5 ohm at a constant power.

I am not talking an amp that does 250 at 4ohm and 1000 at 1ohm, I am taking 1000rms at 4ohm to 1.5 ohm ect ect, for this reason alone makes these amplifiers desireable for almost any application. Sure there is better built stuff out there but not alot that can do what these monoblocks can do with power vs ohm load and voltage.

regulated power supplies are nothing special. If anything it limits the power output of the amplifier. There are other reasons the slash amps are great.

I sure will, and have. I just pulled my $800 morels out for some old school fosgates I bet 90% of this forum has no clue exist. My kicker has been on front stage duty since then as well. The alpines were a temp system until I got lazy and never swapped them out. Don't worry I'll be doing a much more unusual build next except for sub stage.

if this says anything I had a friend running a cvx and cvr in the same sealed box. 3 weeks later the cvr was horrible messed up.
