whats difference between directed 1500, and 1100

im gettin a directed 1500, but i notice the specs match with the 1100

Directed Audio 1500D

Power ratings

Rated Power @ 4 ohm: 425W x 1 RMS

Rated Power @ 2 ohm: 800W x 1 RMS

Rated Power @ 1 ohm: 1100W x 1 RMS

Dynamic Power Rating 1500 Watts

If my memory serves me correctly, the 1500d has a subsonic filter, whereas the 1100d does NOT.

so there is literally no difference between the two? i know the 1100 isent strappable and the 1500 is, is that the only difference?

ive heard the 1500d's birthsheet says like 1340 or something??? ne1 know or have one, did it come with birthsheets?

When I talked to someone at Directed about it they said the 1500 had some newer circuitry in it that supposedly made it more reliable. Otherwise they are the same amp.
