Amplifier choice, questions, etc

Alright, I was considering ordering either Infinity 12" DVQs, or Infinity Perfect 12.1s for my truck, but I need to decide on an amp before I order anything.. Heres what ive looked at so far, and a couple questions(probably dumb questions, but how else will I learn?).

Alright, if a D class amp is putting out 600W and I am using it to power 2 subs, will each sub recieve 300 watts or will each sub recieve 600w?

Can I connect two subs to one single channel D class amp?

I have an Alpine T-757 amp that I was considering using for the subs if I go with the 12.1s, but was looking at an infinity amp(link below) for the DVQs, but that would only work assuming they can get enough power from it.

Well, I think thoise were all the questions I have so far.. Car audio is a lot more confusing than performance work lol.

Each sub will receive half the power...or 300w.

Yes, assuming the amp is stable into the final impedance presented to it.

That Infinity amplifer would not work well with a pair of PERFECT12DVQ. The DVQ's have dual 4ohm voice coils, which means you can only wire the pair to 4ohm or 1ohm. That Infinity amp isn't stable to 1ohm, and won't provide enough power into 4ohm for the pair.

If you went with that Infinity amp, you could go with the Perfect12VQ's rather than DVQ's. The VQ's have a single 4ohm voice coil, which means you could wire a pair to a 2ohm final load, which would give ~325w to each sub.
