im not trying to impress anyone but my self. im still not happy im tired of being just loud .i heard a perfect sounding system a few days ago in the same kind of tahoe,all he had was 3-13" jl audio subs in a sealed box and the bass hits soooo loooowwww and smooth it drove me crazy. i wish i could have traded set-ups.it didnt hit like boom boom or knock knock. it was like humming mmmmmm hmmm hhhmmm.and by the way the box was face towards thr rear door

Then buy my 2 15" HD's and throw them in a box off your Kickers. They'll play loud, get low, and sound good. Then upgrade your front speakers and you'll have a nice system for playing music...

As for your problem, an enclosure tuned around 30 hz would probably suit you nicely...or you could build a sealed one as well.
