Whats Better Louder Or Dbzzzz

TL score is nothing unless you compete. My setup was doing 139 @ 32 Hz on music and it sounded close to being as loud as a previous setup i had which was doing 142 at 56 Hz. The higher note setup was more like a banging sound and the lower note setup was more smooth and a gust of air. I preferred the lower note setup.

your friend,

adio

He's still going through the phase of worrying about impressing everyone else, instead of himself is all. He'll grow out of that.

You've got a loud street beater set up: blaring tweets and boomy bass, so I'm not sure what else you're looking for...

P.S. Actual loudness is measured on the mic, not by the ear. It's called SPL //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

you are not loud. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
But **** does it sound good my VERY quiet friend //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Actually, measuring SPL is not necessarily measuring loudness, rather, it's measuring pressure //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif

but isn't that how we define loudness in car audio //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

And x2 on the meter don't lie //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I have had people say "you have (4) 15's on 16,000 watts, and you can only do a 157???". I just laugh and say, "but it will do it all the way down to 35 Hz" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Most people have no idea, so it is not worth arguing over. . .I had one guy in my truck who had constantly been telling me "my car did a 154 @ 52 Hz on an AC mic with just (2) 12's, so I can't believe you are only doing a 157." Man did I shut him up in about 10 seconds!!!

Yeah, I can agree with that. I'm not about the meter any more. I don't care about being loud to show off either. As long as it gets loud enough for me to hear the bass while my windows are down doing 80, it's loud enough for me.

I agree 100%. I could give a flying **** what other people think or trying to impress some douche on the street. If he wants loud beats then buy a car and put your own shit in it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif My system is for ME to enjoy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

man, if could hit 138dbs at 28Hz.......

Like player said, if you are competiting, then dbz matter. If not, who gives a shit as long as you are happy.

Looks like you are never happy, because you only get on here once in awhile when you want to do something crazy to your ride and let us all know.

You heard me!?!?
