Whats better- Full Range Or Component?

components give better bass than full range coaxs. Components are jsut as full range but you have a seperate tweet, woofer and crossover instead of having a tweet stuck in the middle of your cone. I would go with components.

I wouldn't agree completely, depends on what speakers we're talking about //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

True full range speakers (with no tweets) generally have some sacrifices that come with the design, and that usually involves a steep rolloff in bass or some attenuation of the top end.

I believe the term "full range" here was describing co-axial speakers and not the home audio definition of "full range"...such as Fostex.

And, using co-axials as the context of the question.....I for the most part agree with alteraudio. Components will generally give you better bass response aswell as better overall sound and response, and better power handling and output capabilities as they are generally better designed speakers with a better crossover network.
