im just trying to see some random prices on some cheaper ones

i price matched about 5 from cardomain, all came to right about 600-650ish

cardomain wont work for me right now so here is crutch

i really liked my pioneer 5700 when i had it, it just have a pretty limited EQ on it.

it was like your standard high, mid, low (sub) and then HPF and LPF, but i was still able to crank some respectable sound out of it.

only complaint i had was that it didn't have any screensaver type things, only a plain blue screen while a CD was playing.

also had good DVD playback, and menu's were easy to access

thats one thing i want, something with a cool looking screen when playing my cd's or mp3 player

Out of those you listed, that 617 looks the nicest and has the highest preamp voltage 5v. The others are at a measly 2 - 2.2v

jensen has a decent looking dvd unit and the flush mount double din is also the same price.

i dont remember but they only knocked it down to 700ish, just copy the model and go to froogle.com

i bought a kenwood 815 should behere soon
