What's a good box size single 15" ported?

I was reading a little and seems its close to what people use for 2x 12's ported

So somewhere around 3.5ft^3??

I ended up going with 1 D6 15" and DSC1500D prob throw 1000w at it all day

What Freq should I port it for?

I'd say closer to 3.0-3.2cu.ft.

Somewhere in the 3-3.5ft^3 range. You have plenty of power so no need for a large box.

I'm new to the ported world and a couple important terms.

I have been reading some and whats a good freq to tune for using a 3ft^3 box?

So far I have been using RE's enclousure calculator and came up with 34"W X 16.5"H X 14"D. 2" port width and 8" length(on the back wall). It gives 3.119 cubes-sub@.13=2.9891ft^3 and tuned for ~30.5(fb) with 30in^2 of port.

Does this sound OK? Should I add more port in^2?
