You are comparing a toyota yaris engine to a v6 mustang. HDC in every way. Should not even be compared in the first place. The HDS 200 series is a better match for the mofo, even then the mofo is pretty outclassed.

what would be a good amp to go with the soundqubed? when it says 1500 rms is that true? only because mofo says 1500 and i have a feeling thats not true. any other subs run better with the price range of 300? if i were to buy online any suggested websites?

Hdc3 can take up to 2k-2.5k easy...

I'd agree, clamped, they'll be lucky to take 1500 on a 40-50hz sine wave for more than a five minutes, but on a 2.5k + normal rise then they should be fine with a clean signal.

Place 5k watts on a 50hz sine wave and see if a DD Z will last 5 minutes.

Same concept except in my post it was for dynamic power aka music.

Short bursts of even 3k wont kill a hdc3 either, but id stay in the 2-2.5k
