Oh wow you are close. I'm right off of the Ina exit on I10. It's about 20 miles from the Red rock exit if you are familiar with that area. Takes me about 45 minutes to get to Oracle from where I live.

For sure. I have a bit of work to do myself. I head out to Red Rock on occasion, and hit Oracle to see the snow if they get it, so I'm sure we could meet halfway at some point.

Ya for sure whenever man, i wont be done untill around taxes i still have about 1500 left before im done lol but whenever i take hwy79 all the way to oracle its a nice drive i take it all the time to just go lol, you get a good rain i did lol

Sorry, been extremely busy this weekend and have had limited online time. Ranger does give a valid point, and yes we do have to make our specs more middle of the road as they are not set to anyone's specific vehicle, but what the individual subs are naturally comfortable in. The enclosure sizing I suggested on our site, is just that, a suggestion, not a requirement. The Gcon may have a smaller motor, BUT it is very close to the original Icon (for a couple of dollars less I might add), so motor strength is not really an issue. The Gcon does prefer a slightly larger then average (no Vega large), but where many 12's will hover in the 2.0 range, the Gcon 12 is good in the 2.25ish area for most needs. Hope that helps.
