Hi,

I just bought 2 12" Alpine Type-r's (2 Ohm) and 2 MA Audio M1889I (800 watts @ 2 ohm) amps and KnuKonceptz amp install kits. I was wondering what you guys think of this for my first setup? Will it bump pretty nicely?

yeah but you won't be able to run them on their own amps at 2 ohm

You'd have to run each one at 1 ohm I am pretty sure. Hopefully those amps are stable at 1 ohm.

he wouldn't HAVE to he could run them at 4 ohm and be fine.

I just researched the amps. They dont seem to be stable at 1 ohm so I guess the 4 ohms would be your only choice.

do you have the DVC 2 ohm, or DVC 4 ohm? how you wire either one makes a difference...

your right, in series its a 2 ohm load in parallel it drops to a .5 ohm load.

Yeah, and I dont think those amps are strappable.

P.S. Blake The RL-p's are on their way to mansfield as we speak, Ill be building a box next week.
