what would you guys do? ms2250

im sure everyone has seen my post about me hurting my ms2250... i fed it to much signal and now there is something wrong on the input side of the amp... this has caused a great deal of stress with me because i have always been careful with my gem... i simply just over looked something because the amps are pulled from my vehicle so there is no chance i get robbed... i set it to where it sounded good and didnt realize i was over clipping the amp..

so heres the deal, im having a tuff time trying to swallow that i have to ship this amp out... i dont want it out of my site... so instead of shipping it out with the possibility of getting burned, i have recieved an offer to trade it straight up for a very nice orion 2100 that works flawlessly.... i believe that the orions are more abundant but it would work great for what i got... its just not as much as a show piece as the ms2250 is... the orion that i would be gettng tested at 2000 watts at full bore ... what would you guys do? trade the amp , or ship it out ?

do what you want - im guessing the ms does 2250.. and you said the orion does 2000.. the extra 250 watts wouldnt have an audiable difference so do whatever your heart desires...

and jesus christ... got enough speakers in your car? lol

the ms2250 is 2x250 and is rated at a lil over 1000... it will do 1500 at 2 ohms maybe a lil more... the whole point of me asking is because the ms2250s are few and far between and will always be a collectors item... the orions are more abundant but yes they do a killer job... its a toss up... the only reason i posted again on my own thread was because i waited days without a response... can anyone else THAT KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT respond with a intellegent answer?

i'd keep it if you are a serious diehard PG fan or dont need the cash.

personally i like have amps/subs whatever thats not common. I would do some research on the site to find a good place to send the amp to, get it insured and cross your fingers. It will be that much of a better story next time you got to tell someone about the amp..

I was there for Nopi Nationals and somebody thought they need my equipment more then i did so they stole my whole van from the hotel parking lot.I had 2 MS 1000's and 2 DD 9515's and 12 stinger batteries

that sucks... ever see the van again? and justonemoreamp has a ms1000 forsale on ebay now... its been like 2 days and its already over a grand... its a t/a too, not an origanal

they found the van gutted like 2 days later,i told them to keep it there and wrote it off as totaled.I do still have one of the original shipping crates for one.Was thinking about selling it maybe.
