What would i need to keep a steady 14+volts?

HO alt, big 3, large power wires, possibly multiple batteries

what if your car restricts you to get a bigger alt?? I think my stock ALT is like 75 amps. I got an estimate to get it re-wound...they said they could only bump it to like 150....which really sucks still. BUT its interesting.. I really dont have many problems with lights dimming. And all I have is 1 batcap400 in the back. I hold 13.4-13.8V

Extra batteries only help to do two things, give you a longer time frame to run the stereo with the car not running or prolong inevitable voltage drop in your system. If your altenator cant keep up charging one battery than it wont magically be able to keep up to two. And if your on the edge of being able to handle the draw than the extra battery might not favor you.

I remember getting a quote from Nate and he said that a 200amp(100amp@idle) alt was the biggest i could go so, would a

Big 3 done in 2/0ga, a 200amp HO alt,and a yellow top batt do the trick for those 2 amps?

i was in his position.

i used to drop all the way down to 10.2

now i am steady @ 12.4......no lower, but the alty is dying on me.....the highest i get is 13.3
