what would be different with size change?

wondering what changes when you go up in subwoofer size? For instance, i run a single 10" in my trunk, if i switched it for a 12", what would be different, louder? More cabin vibration and pressure?

Yes. More cone area=more pressure=more sound. Depends though on what kind, type of enclosure, watts, yada yada yada.....

With same brand/rms/ect from a 10 to a 12, not really a whole lot of difference that I have been able to tell other than a bigger /more space taken up for the box.Thats with same brand /rms /Vcoil.I cant really tell.??I may be half deaf now though being past the age of 40 though
