What would a solid 8000wrms system constist of?

i'd do 16-18v alt as well on top of a HO alty. higher voltage=increase in power usually. and a nice bank of 4-5 batteries probly. several multiple runs of 1/0 wire as well (ground and power).

You do not need 600amps of alternator to run 8000watts

As previously stated meade has 2 315amp alts, like 6-7 batts and has 4 4kw rockford amps AND 3000+wrms in power for the mids highs not to mention this screens and HID headlights on his hoe. 300amp plus a bank of 4 batteries would do the trick. Bus bars and multiple runs of 1/0 or 2/0 would be sufficient.
