What wires do I need?

I went to Best Buy today and asked about an installation price for a sub and an amp. I already have speakers and a headunit. They said installation was 70 bucks and the wires needed were 80. 150 bucks just to get it in is a bit steep. Anyone know where I can get a good deal on wires and professional installation thats cheaper than that?

well you could by all of the wires and fuses that you need and get it alot cheaper if you go to your local car audio store, not a chain such as best buy or circuit city, buy 4 guage wire remote wire, and rca's and then get a fuse holder, fuse, and speaker wire if you need it, the way that they make you overpay when you buy those install kits is that they give you like 20 feet of power wire and 10 feet of ground wire, when truthfully most manufactures only recomend a 3 foot ground. depending on wire costs in you area, you could probably get away with every thing depending on fuse style for 50 or 60 dollars
