Ok this is my first thread but my friend has 2 Alpine type r's and seprate amps to each. What could i get that would out bump him without paying to much? I have been suggest 1 15 inch JL AUdio W3v2 with an Alpine 501 amp?

what is your budget? and those jl w3's aren't very good in my opinion. my friend has some jl 12w3's and they sound awful in my opion. are you looking for a single 15? some 12's?

right now i have 2 JL 12W0 with a kicker kx500.1 amp and it is not loud enough to out bump the type r's so i want to up grade what is the best stuff i can get for around $700-750?

there are a lot of options. get a 15" magnum and a kicker kx1200.1 or a 15" brahma or xxx.
