What was...

I had friend with a walk through bed Isuzu, he told me "sit in her and listen". I was like D**n, soundds good, what do you have, he had 2 of those, I was quite amazed with the output of those thing, I have never owned any personally. Pretty good from what I have heard.

Bazooka tubes were the first subs I ever heard. I owned both 8's and 10's and they CAN tickle your innards if you put the right amount of juice in them.

However, back to the original question: 2 MTX Blue Thunder 10's in 1.25 sealed box custom built for a Ford Ranger. Had to push the seat all the way forward, which made riding around with 2 other guys over 6' really fun.

M&M Godfathers:crap:
That was back in 90/91!!! I was running 2 of them off a Punch 75 when they could run down to about 1ohm and be stable all day. If I remember correctly I was also using a Punch 45 to run a set of Coustic mids and highs and it was in a Cutlass Calais 442. Sounded Sweet for back in the day.

My first was a single MTX 15 with a square magnet and a opec cone, then my second set was a pair of Kicker C-15's.........//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif :D //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Black Gold model, they were AWESOME!!!! I had a pair of 8's at one point and I couldn't kill them. I think the best subs I haver ever owned were the JLW5's. They set the standard for what a sub should be even today. It's a shame they don't still make them.....
