I had a kick *** system for my first.

Eclipse head unit 1997 model I believe

PPI 100iqx for MB Quart comps

PPI 200iqx for 2 JL Audio 12w1s in a sealed box.

I loved that system.

I got my first system in '99. Some Alpine hu that was on clearance, and 2 12" RF Punch RFZ1812s powered by a punch 100.a in a prefab sealed box. The hu is in my brothers car now, still works as good as the day I bought it. So does the amp, its still going strong after ~6 years of constant use.

2 Kenwood 720 Powering 2 sets of Kicker 5.25s and tweets (I think 5.25s mighta been 4"s) in the doors, had to cut them up a bit

1 Kenwood 820 Powering 2 sets of Kicker 6.5"s in rear sides

2 Kenwood 1020s each powering 2 12" Kicker Comp C-12-4s...

2 extra, no name batteries

thats the same thing my sis had in her bmw 3 series. except she had 10"s subs.

HU: Eclipse ECD 410

AMP: Soundstream Reference 200 (SuB)

X-over: AudioControl 4xs

High/Mids: MB Quart components (Don't remember the model#)

SUB: Cheap *** VC Brand (Voice Coil) 15"

I loved that HU and hopefully I will own another nice old school ECD unit

Would have gotten rid of the HU, as I saw a refurb 7998 at a local store (authorized Alpine dealer), but the 9833 was a gift from July, so I can't really get rid of yet without pissing some people off. i know this is hell old but figured i'd add to it

my first system was (4) MTX thunder 2000 12"s

6.5" MTX midbass and a 4" thunder 5000 component set pushed off a thunder 275x and the subs pushed off a MTX 4320
