i got 2 mtx 9515 in a box for $200 from a pawn shop. the wires had fallen out of the subs and they were barely working. I reached through the port and could feel them loose and told the guy i had $200 cash for the "broken" subs. Best deal ever.

i got 2 10L7s bnib and two swiss audio amps bnib for $220 flipped the amps to get some money back. I always catch deals at the pawn shops, they are so easy to talk down on car audio stuff.

Yeah get to know the owners, i got a friend that works at a pawn shop here., well we became friends because he works there and im in there at least 3x a month. He just got fired for giving me too much money for items i pawned. LOL

My first system..11th grade year, 2000 i think.I bought two 12" jl w6's in a jl bandpass box with a rockford 800a2 and audiocontrol 3 way crossover all for 200 bucks....I pretty much knew it was hot cause it was a kinda shady friend of mine but I didnt ask.I found out like two years later that all the stuff had been stolen from another friend that i had lost touch with for a couple, he graduated the year before I got it all...the fvcked up part is the boy that stole it from him,the same guy i bought it from.. was his best friend when he graduated.

I sold it all to my cousin for what I paid back in like 2002 or 3 and he still has it all sitting in his garage and has never hooked it up...if i asked he would probably give it back for less

yeah, find the oldest guy there that knows nothing about car audio and tell him the equipment is shitty, but make sure you are a good convincer. otherwise he wont listen. ive gotten some pretty good stuff by doing this

got an L5, kicker box, and 350 watt kicker amp for free. i used it for 2 months ended up giving it to someone else. PAY IT FOWARD.

i thought it was a good deal, i got my Hertz HSKs for half off the MSRP, 250, then found a guy locally selling them for half that, 130.
