They're definitey pretty powerful for what I'm needing. I'll have 150x2 @ 8ohms for my tweets, and 250x2 @ 8ohms for the mids.

The IXL's sound great. I'm running a pair right now in the 4ft^3 @ 28hz box I made for my Assassins, and they sound beautiful. I'm rethinking how much power I really need for them, since with 2ft^3 each right now I can exceed xmax with just ~250 watts. The box I'm building gives each 1.5ft^3, so I'm thinking ~500 each is all I'll need...maybe a pair of Sundown 2k's when they come out? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

It'd help me out a ton only needing that much power. Then I can do a single run of 3/0 or 4/0 welding cable, or a couple of cheap runs of 1/0 KLMX...and with a battery bank consisting of these(135ah each), I won't need a HO alt for everyday listening.
