what u guys think about a red top they any good. im looking for somthing i can pick up local and drop it in 1 2 3. and do the big 3. as of now im so **** busy with staying up all night and doing nothing and sleeping all day lol

If you're going to get an Optima, at least get a Yellow Top. The Red Top is a good starter battery, but the yellow top has much better reserve capacity.

You're getting a 200a alt for 1600 watts? Waste of money in my eyes.

Get the optima yellow top for the front, and add a nice battery in the back IF needed.

The duralast gold is a good battery. I had one in my old truck and it worked nice. Better stats than a Red Top for a fraction of the price. I would go with one of those up front and a Kinetik/Stinger/Deka/other CA-aimed drycell in back depending on how much power you'll be running

thats the thing im gona do the big 3 i got a 75 oem alt. refurb one that is. and i dont know what i can put out as far as rms i gota see. i wana power 4 12s that are 400 rms each. im looking at 2 15s as well

I would just go with the 15s. You'll get plenty loud and won't have to push as much power. Should be fine with a couple good batteries running the 12s though. Just do the big 3 in 0 gauge and run a dedicated ground for the amp if you don't get a second battery.

i still say red top up front (or the duralast, although i dont have any experience with them) because its a DD.

and your stock alt is barely putting out anything. id definetly upgrade to at least something like 120amp.

the gold is 94 at auto zone out by me. im not sure if all depends of if the guy comes threw with some money for my stuff. and if i can run a 1600 rms amp off a stock alt. the only thing is i wana do the big 3 and battery at the same time . mayb 150 extra 60 if it will be better. and for the subs i never ran a extra battery in the trunk nor have i seen one in person i dont know how to do that. i run what a power wire from my battery to the othere battery and ground from the battery to a spot in the trunk. and mount the battery so its not rolling all around and shit?

thats what we talked about your right. i went out befor 12 am ahahha i found out how to do the big 3 i read the whole **** section. u just add no cuting ahhaha. i dont know how to release the tention of the pulley for the alt
