JL Audio 500/1 v2 sound dissapears @ loud volume

I have a new 500/1 v2, a new battery, a capacitor and I can not stop this amp from going silent @ loud volumes(not shut off, no indicator lights when it happens). The ground and power wire is 4 ga. The rca input to the 500/1 v2 is relayed from the RCA output of a four channel amp. This is mind boggling and I have seen a lot of people with the same problem with these JL audio amps. I never had this problem with my punch amp in the same set-up! ANYBODY PLEASE HELP BEFORE I TOSS THIS AMP OUT THE WINDOW WHILE ON THE INTERSTATE!

Well I use to have a 500 V1 and it never happen to me. Can you let us know what subs and HU you have.

Sound like you're just going into protect. Maybe the first amp is going into protect, and that cuts out the sub amp. You really should run separate RCAs anyway.

Well, I ran the rca jacks seperate and removed the capacitor and still had same problem.

those amps have the never fade feature, so it won't shut off but it will keep playing
