i crimped mine then used 60/40 solder to finish it up, worked great

Just get a pair of pliers and some long pipes.

mechanical advantage = gg

or a long pipe on a vice clamp's handle

I am trying to get a stronger hold on some 1/0 ring terminals i just crimped on. I am using Rosin Based Solder (Electrical) and the solder just comes right off the wire/ring terminal.
How do you ensure the wire stays intact with the Ring Terminal?

O and search is all screwed up it's not letting me search AT ALL even tried google

gotta use flux dude no flux no dice

this always use a little dab of flux then melt the then solder, never had a problem this way.
