can you improve sound quality with 2 runs?

Hey guys,

work in progress. i am beefing up my electrical system. the big 3 plus a higher output alternator. my question is I currently have the amp in the rear trunk. amp pushes 500w at peak. it is bridged into a single polk db 12 inch woofer in a sealed Q-form box. the woofer is in the front trunk, about a 10ft run. i have a single run of basic monster cable. i still have enough for another run. can i double up and improve sound quality, or is that a waste of time.

I've cleaned it up some since that pic...it was pulled out of a barn after sitting for 15 years....it will still crank and run...but it needs a lot
