what to run an SE with...?

looking at 2 se's..and also was looking at the popular bx1500d. good for the price but the se's need 600rms each and thats 1200total. i kno the se's are dual 4 ohm and i kno u can parallel that to 2 ohm but what about 1 ohm? the bx1500d puts out 1000 at 2 ohms and 1500 at 1 ohm. ive heard these numbers are a tad bit high so does anyone kno of a good replacement for the money(under 250)????

also i got another quick question for some help....is it a sacrifice to put the se's in a sealed box of reccommended volume? (2cu ft for 2)

yea, a planet audio p1250d, some1 is selling 1 for 200 shipped i believe. Does about 1250 underrated @ 1 ohm. seems like a good match to me

i ran my SE's off a memphis 1000d which put out 1100 @ 1 ohm...

they never saw more than 400 a piece in a sealed box and i would

have to say they sounded freaking great!!!

god i miss my subs...

get a Hifonics bx1000d, 1000 rms, 1200 rms for the pair of subs, there ya go, at 1 ohm. the bx1500d is 1500 rms about 200 more rms to the pair. Either way, its a pretty good match, but the bx1000d is cheaper, about 230 shipped on ebay, and if you go with the bx1000d, id go ported, better output with less power!

oh... btw... sealed SE's get 1 cube a piece... so yes... 2 cubes for 2 subs...

cool. thanks. i think ill jus run a bx1500d and turn the gain down so it doesnt put so much power to the subs. ive heard that that amp is somewhat overrated on its rms ratings. ill need 1200rms and it supposively gives 1500 and when u consider in this doubt in actual power then it should work out great with gain turned down when needed.
