$5 isn't even worth the hassle of putting up an ad and trying to sell it.Put it on Craigslist for 5$ and see if you can get money for it. If not, blow it up and put it in the trash.

There should be places that recycle it for free. I was in a electronic recycler site the other day and they said they would pay shipping to get it to their facility.
