what to do with an old laptop?

Hey all I have a pretty old gateway laptop that I dont know what to do with. It's running windows 98 and is a pentium 3 with 64mb or RAM. nothing special. It deffinatly has some kind of bug/virus and won't stay on unless plugged into it's charger. I would reformat it but dont have any windows disks unless you count the copy of windows XP I have. Its being used on my desktop though so I can't put it on the laptop, right? What would you guys do with it besides throw it off a building?

I doubt you want to put XP on a laptop that has 64MB ram.

sell it. its worth more then you think even with a dead battery. PM what you want for it and the specs i dont care if it has xp or not.

windows 2000 should run just fine on it. You can headbutt it while you're installing that and then sell it. Even having a newer os than 98 will make it look like a "better" computer in the eyes ofa potential buyer and windows 2000 should run without problems ona system like that.
