Ok after talking to mobeious by the way hes a great builder done builds for me before and knows what hes doing. Well after talking to him since its a blowthrough and must have a loading chamber/compression chamber w/e its called i cant do the 4 18's. I was looking into 8 12's, 6 15's or 4 18's all ported. Well i have 62x49x20 external. minus around 10" length for room for batts and amps

so looking at 52x49x20 external dimensions so after disp for wood looking at 25.6 cubes. the 18's will need around 24 cubes plus port and loading chamber so cant do that. the 8 12's are too long 48" plus room for between subs to mount so thats out. the 6 15's is the same problem. So i have decided to go with either 2 18's or 4 15's

I am leaning towards the 15's for cone area and more power. I am looking to run anywhere from 4-6k just depends what a 250-300amp alt and 4 batteries in the back and one upfront can handle.

So what would u do the 2 18's on 3-4k watts or 4 15's on 4-5k watts 6k if i can keep voltage up.

Also what subs. I was looking into RE XXX's, RLP's, BTL's. Post what subs and which setup you would look into

Also what kind of addational weight am i looking at the batterys alone 80lbs a piece so 320lbs in the back, plus the box, how much would the box weigh. Dont want to add a bunch of weight and loss gas mileage or put stress on the ******

that the build qualitly isnt the best compared to other subs in the same price range

not worried about it just saying. Its still an option

far as power and electrical looking to get a 250amp alt or 300amp alt if i can find one for my truck. Big battery upfront. 4 runs of 1/0 to the back to 4 batteries, something like spv70's, deka's hc2400's something along those lines. And for amps looking into 2 zx2500's or a vfl500.1, or maybe even a pair of sundown 3kd's

which ever out of those amps will put out the most power but easier on the electrical looking to get 4-5k watts is what i plan on running on the 18's or 15's

leaning to go with the 15's more cone area and can give each one anywhere from 1k-1500rms depends on how much electrical can handle

i would do 4 15s over 2 18s if you gotz the room
read above your post thats what i want to do. also worried about the extra weight. i dont want to add 1000lbs in the bed. Its a daily driver. External dimensions are looking around 49widex52longx20high

also looking into RD elite series, along with some re sx subs

Looking to run anywhere from 1k-1500rms per sub and budget of around 1500 for all 4 subs

4 15's all the way guy
also worried about the weight of the box and subs, and batteries to keep up with the power needed

looking anywhere from 1k-1500rms per sub so 4-6krms however much i can run on the electrical listed

looking at 25.6 cubes total before sub or port disp so looking at 16 cubes for the subs which is abour right 4 cubes per sub

so looking at 9.5 cubes left for port and loading chamber minus another cube for sub disp so looking at 8.5 cubes left for port and loading chamber so should be just about the right amount of room

what are your guys thoughts on how many watts can i run with 250-300amp alt battery upfront, 4 batts in the back with 4 runs of 1/0

Also whats some good HO alts and whats the biggest they make for my truck a f150 5.4l 2001
