What subs are comparible to W7's?

supposivly (my buddy that came over last night told me) that his alpine type X compared EXACTLY to a w7.. He even let me lift up the box to see how heavy it was and it was a **** near + or - 30 POUNDS!!!!

not the same. type x is not better or worse, but they are not the same.

Q is their SQ driver, BL is in between their all out SPL driver the BTL and the Q, louder than the Q with less SQ, not as loud as the BTL but with better SQ.

Q is more SQ based, BL is between Q and BTL, so loud but not all out SPL

Never said the X and the 7 was comparable.. I said that is what my buddy said, from what I felt (by lifting the box) I would say his X was around 30 pounds give or take. I dont give a **** about the X or the 7 so I couldnt tell you id they were close to the same or not..

just buy a w7 and stop looking for a cheaper alternative

well i need 4 of them and 4 13 w7s is gonna get a little pricey so if there is somethin that is just as good that sounds the same and has the same output why wouldnt i get that?
