What speaker is this? [pics]

It's a 4" driver.

"20w nom - 40w max 4 - 8 ohms" written on the shredded back label along with "patent pending". 6 spoke stamped basket. Inverted orange foam surround. Paper cone (I glazed it with nail polish a long time ago, hence the shine). The dustcap is a piece of chromey plastic. I really like the way the driver sounds and if I knew what it was or what brand made it, I could buy a match for it. Thanks.

I believe you have yourself a Kraco Roadmaster. I believe you are going to have some issues finding one, I haven't seen those in years.

Didn't Kraco stop making drivers back in the 80s? What a disappointment. They have degenerated into something along the lines of Legacy and Pyle. =(

On the bright side, they still offer 8 track head units. =p

I have very unique tastes in driver cosmetics. This is like a backwards baby funkypup! 2mm one way Xmax by my tests. Very linear, she plays up past 10k by my ears. Nothing going for midbass. Maybe I'll build a horn for it. =)
