what size wire should I use inside my sub box?

Hi guys, this is my first time posting. I've had a cheap sub in my truck before, I got it free from a neighbor. But I'm now upgrading to 2x jl 10tw3 running off a jl slash 600/1v3. I'm running 4 gauge power/ground and 8 gauge from amp to binding posts on sub box. I'll have 8 gauge left so can I use that from posts to sub inside the box?

Also, my idea for wiring inside the box is wiring each sub separately at 8 ohms each to their own binding posts and then wiring them each to amp. The amp is mono but has 4 connections for multiple sub's. The manual says it parallels the sub's in the amp. So will 8ohms series for each sub inside the box parallel to 4ohms at amp? Or should I just run it from one set of binding posts?

8 gauge would work, but it'd be overkill for what you're running. Do you have anything smaller you could use?

Also, welcome to Ca.com. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Well I'll see if how much 8 gauge I have left and if I can use it for door speakers later. I already ordered it from knukonceptz yesterday. Thanks for the advice!
WAY too big of a wire gauge, man. You're not running power wire here; speaker wire is an A/C signal. 12 all around is more than enough for you and I'd probably save some money and do either 14 or 16 for the runs to the doors. Are you planning to run 1KW in each door? If not, you don't need 8.
